How to activate your tariff / additional package
Unlike contract rates, with prepaid Internet cards you can change the rate every 30 days, add an additional package, etc. This allows you to create the perfect Internet rate every month. This means that you can create the perfect Internet tariff for yourself every month.
Booking a tariff or additional package is very simple. Depending on the provider, you have several options. You can either contact the service hotline, enter a code in the keypad (not possible with Internet sticks) or simply go to the provider's website. What can I use my prepaid card for?
Internet stick
Prepaid Internet cards can be used in combination with an Internet stick. The stick is plugged into a laptop or PC and you already have Internet on the device.

Mobile Wifi Router
The Mobile Wifi Router is the wireless alternative to the Internet stick. The SIM is inserted into the router, which can be placed anywhere nearby. After switching on, the router creates a wireless network that you can connect to. The biggest advantage is that you can take a mobile router with you on the road, for example, on the train. In addition, several devices can be connected at the same time.
Tablet
Many tablets have a slot for SIM cards. With a suitable Internet prepaid card for Austria, you can turn your tablet into a perfect companion on the go. However, you have to make sure that the tablet really has a SIM slot (for iPads, for example, there are always two categories - tablets with and without a SIM slot) and that it does not have a SIM lock, i.e. that it is unlocked for every network.
